Amano Pioneer Eclipse Receives OSHA SHARP Recertification
SPARTA, NC – May 28, 2024 – Amano Pioneer Eclipse Corp (APEC), a worldwide leader in the design and production of commercial floor care equipment and chemicals, has received OSHA SHARP recertification. Achieving this recertification demonstrates APEC’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
As a part of the recertification process, an onsite visit was performed recently by OSHA auditors, as well as, NC Director of OSHA - Jennifer Haigwood. A thorough assessment of safety protocols and conditions was performed. The visit involved examining machinery, checking safety equipment, and ensuring proper safety measures were in place. APEC is committed to workplace safety and continuing to improve safety culture.
SHARP, which stands for Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program, is a NC OSHA program that recognizes small and mid-size employers who have developed and maintained effective safety and health programs. There are only 159 SHARP certified companies in North Carolina. APEC is the only SHARP certified site in Alleghany County.
